Job Description:   

This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location.  As an Midpoint Functional Architecture (MFA) Systems Engineer on our team you will provide support to the MFA Team to explore standardization of the infrastructure across mission application products. Currently, various teams are independently exploring a containerized architecture and orchestration environment. The MFA Team would like to establish a cross-product team to provide transparency and potential standardization across the teams to drive efficiencies in both the development and deployment/maintenance of the SIGINT field site products. The MFA Team will also look at the corporate Kubernetes environment to minimize deviation from the corporate architecture.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and at least 20 years of systems engineering experience.  A Master’s or PhD Degree may be substituted for two years of experience.  Note: A High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
• Successful candidates must be able to flexibly adapt to a dynamic working environment.
• Position requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
