Applicant shall have 5 to 7 years’ experience in one or more sets of PC languages (multi-user environment). The applicant is required to have expertise in Visual FoxPro, Microsoft Access, and Share Point. - Experience with Lotus Notes is not a requirement but is considered a plus in addition to the above. - Experience with development in a Windows 2000/XP environment. Applicant shall be capable of working independently as well as with personnel at various locations

Other Duties

Meet with the user community to discuss user requests and translate them into methods and procedures for generating database systems. Based on knowledge of PC LAN microcomputer systems and knowledge of PC LAN environment within EPA, create appropriate files and develop and maintain programs using EPA Region III standard computer development languages. Shall be responsible for testing, installation, documentation, and user training. Provide assistance to the user community within WPD. This may range from writing and/or debugging small sections of code to merely responding to simple questions. Samples of current systems that are in development or maintenance stages are as follows: National UIC Database Running new queries and reports from the UIC ODS new National Database system. Mapping fields for tables to the National UIC Database, attend conference calls for updates. Upload data from WIMS to National UIC Database tables and creating forms to add and edit records. Upload Class II deep injection inspection information from WIMs to EPAs Integrated Compliance Information System (ICIS)
